The 5.1 Audio over AirPlay setting can be found in Infuse > Settings > Playback. Option 2 - Disable 5.1 Audio over AirPlay in Infuse On the Apple TV, navigate to Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format and set Change Format to Dolby Digital 5.1. Option 1 - Enable Dolby Digital on the Apple TV This can happen when the Apple TV is not connected to a Dolby compatible device, or if Dolby audio is disabled in the Apple TV settings. If Infuse is pausing playback immediately after enabling AirPlay, it may be related to Infuse trying to send Dolby Digital audio when the device the Apple TV is connected to doesn't support it. Doing this will allow all videos to be supported, even those which are not supported by Apple. In these cases, you can enable AirPlay mirroring on your device. If audio is working but video is not, the currently playing video may not be compatible with AirPlay. Enable MirroringĪirPlay is an Apple-designed feature, and the formats it will support are a bit limited. Again, if you don't change the output before mirroring it will not work. After that, turn on the mirroring and the sound should be coming out of your tv. BEFORE turning on the mirroring, change the output audio on your computer to Apple TV in System Preferences.
